Kronik Leila is a musical duo project founded in Istanbul in 2020 by twin brothers Arda Tuncer and Başak Tuncer, who came together with the idea of producing and publishing electronic music. The duo's debut as Kronik Leila was with their first single ‘Yuva’, which was recorded in their home studio and released in July 2021, and since then they have continued their production without a break until today.
Fascinated by the almost limitless possibilities offered by electronic production, the brothers, who chose to progress in this field, actually have a classical music background. Both of them graduated from Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory clarinet department. After graduating together, they travelled on separate paths for nearly 15 years. 
During this period, Arda completed the post-graduate programme at the Strasbourg Conservatory and the master's programme at the Turin Conservatory and furthered his career as a clarinetist with solo, chamber music and orchestra concerts in different European cities. After years of experience in the media in Istanbul as a reporter and main news anchor, Başak has gained a respected place in the sector after years of experience as a photographer.
